On Thursday evenings this autumn, in conjunction with the St. Jude’s Chant Club, we will be offering a Gregorian Chant Class.

Taught by Fr. Eduard Perrone, this nearly eight-hour program, taught over 12 sessions is accessible to anyone regardless of skill level. Whether you can’t even pronounce Latin, or if you’re a seasoned pro, you can benefit from this comprehensive program.

- The Authentic Modes
- The Plagal Modes
- Rhythm Part II
- Ictus Point and Counting
- Proper Conducting
- Notation and Rhythm

- Syllabic Chant
- Psalm Tones
Please note, that if you take this course you are under no obligation to join the choir or chant club, this course is open to everyone, even those who can’t sing, all you need is an appreciation for the Church’s official treasury of Sacred Music, and a desire to learn.
The course will begin on Thursday, September 14th. There will be no classes on October 26th, November 2nd, or November 9th.
